If interested in Asiatic lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Jackals and Python, SASAN GIR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY is the place for you which are located in India’s Gujarat peninsula. Peaceful Taj Hotel Gir Lodge with all the luxurious facilities is the best option for accommodation while there are other decent lodges too like Gir Forest Lodge and Maneland Jungle Lodge. Nearest airport is Keshod, also it would be preferable for the tourists to travel by air to Rajkot and rent a taxi from there.While another major airport is Ahmedabad. Nearest railheads are Sasan Gir and Veraval, most convenient being Rajkot.

Ranthambore National Park is around 11km away from Sawai Madhopur railway station that lies on Delhi to Bombay.
Then there is a KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK in Assam with 500 species of birds. One can also spot Tigers, one –horned Rhinoceros, wild Buffalo’s and Elephants, monitor Lizards and water birds like Goose, Pelican and grey headed Lapwing.

Nearest airports are Madurai, Cochin and Thiruvananthapuram. Nearest railhead is Kottayam, 114kms from the park.
Bandavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh, Manas Wildlife Sanctuary situated on Bhutan –Assam border and Corbett Tiger Reserves are some more options for the Safari.
Best time to visit these parks is from December to April, while it is closed during monsoon.
